Creativity runs deep in Gitika’s blood.
With a grandfather and father who were both passionate photographers, she grew up witnessing the world through a curious, compassionate lens. Today, she proudly carries forward that legacy — blending intuition and imagination in everything she creates.
As a commissioned artist working in oil and acrylic, Gitika brings her inner stillness to canvas through soulful strokes and vibrant colours. Her art expresses a beautiful balance between spiritual calm and joyful energy.
As a photographer, she’s been featured by several Instagram hubs — including igaustralia, instasg, and even caught the eye of Google Pixel for her powerful storytelling through mobile photography.

Gitika has lived and worked across India, Australia, and now Singapore, drawing deep inspiration from the cultures and communities she’s been part of. Her creative expression has always been shaped by the world around her — through human connection, mindful living, and everyday beauty.
She’s a mindful mama, a community builder, and someone who believes in using her talents to create impact — however small or big it may be.
A Past Life in Tech
Before embracing her artistic side full-time, Gitika spent over a decade in the world of technology.
She worked as a business analyst and project manager across global teams, leading agile projects, solving complex problems, and navigating high-pressure corporate spaces.
As someone raised in a South Asian family, she followed the practical dream first — but her heart always longed to create.
And when the time was right, she chose to pivot, not away from her past, but building on top of it.
Today, she brings that same structure, strategy, and systems-thinking into her creative and entrepreneurial ventures — whether it’s launching her mindful snacking brand Rootsmatter, facilitating community workshops, or managing commissioned art and photography projects.
